FlexDeploy 5.5.0.1
In the spirit of continuous delivery, we release new versions of FlexDeploy monthly. FlexDeploy 5.5.0.1 is a fast follower to FlexDeploy 5.5, a major product version delivered in February. FlexDeploy 5.5.0.1 includes enhancements, usability improvements, and bug fixes. Here are a few highlights!
Oracle SaaS CX Commerce – Extending the support delivered for CX Commerce in FlexDeploy 5.5, this release supports deployment of file and resource types such as Global Resource, Page Layout, Site Settings, Snippets, Stack, Static, Theme, Widget, and Global Element. These files can be sourced from tools like Git and SVN or from a CX Commerce development environment. Additional plugin operations are available for publishing deployed objects and checking for unpublished objects.
Salesforce – Optimization of the development and deployment experience is core to FlexDeploy’s support for Salesforce. This release provides dependency management enhancements for automatically pulling the dependent meta data files and committing them to source control.
Change and Service Management Integration – A native integration is now available for Jira Service Management for ITSM.
Usability and User Experience Improvements – We deliver ongoing enhancements to optimize the experience while using FlexDeploy. This release includes improvements such as endpoint and SSH connection management, additional context for email approvals in a release pipeline, an option to inactivate missing files for partial deployments, and the addition of Azure Git as a source control provider for Blueprints.
Enhanced and Updated Plugins – There were updates and enhancements to numerous plugins including Terraform, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SonarQube, Oracle Database, Oracle EBS, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and more.

FlexDeploy 5.5.0.2
FlexDeploy 5.5.0.2 is the second release in the FlexDeploy 5.5 series. FlexDeploy 5.5.0.2 includes new plugins, platform and plugin enhancements, usability improvements, and bug fixes. Here are some highlights!
Webhooks Enhancements – Includes features to improve webhook build management and insights to release pipeline execution details. For more information on our Webhook enablement, see our Blog Series HERE.
Service/Change Management Integration – You can now add notes to External CMS Approval upon approval or rejection. Notes can be included for out-of-the-box providers like ServiceNow and Jira Service Management and also for custom providers. New Plugins – There are new plugins for Python, Node.js, and Grunt.
Enhanced and Updated Plugins – There were updates and enhancements to plugins including Microsoft Teams, Oracle CX Commerce, Oracle Integration Cloud, Groovy, and Artifactory.
Blueprints for Oracle BI – A new blueprint is available for Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Webcatalog. Additionally, the OBI Webcatalog blueprint was enhanced to support the Oracle BI 2.0 project type.
Usability and User Experience Improvements – We deliver ongoing enhancements to optimize the experience while using FlexDeploy. Improvements this release include enhancements for email communication via IMAP, managing Salesforce developer files, and access to workflow/pipeline execution details.

FlexDeploy 5.5.0.3
FlexDeploy 5.5.0.3 includes new plugins, platform and existing plugin enhancements, usability improvements, and bug fixes. Here are some highlights.
New Plugins – There are new plugins for PeopleSoft, OpenShift, and JFrog Xray. This is an example of the bread and depth of the FlexDeploy support for technologies, including COTS/package applications, containerization, and static code analysis.
- PeopleSoft – The FlexDeploy PeopleSoft plugin makes it easy to migrate PeopleSoft projects from one environment to another, generate build SQL files, and compare project definitions on your target database.
- OpenShift – The OpenShift plugin helps manage resources in a cluster by performing OpenShift CLI commands including apply, label, delete, run, and exec.
- JFrog Xray – The Xray plugin makes it easy to execute Xray tests as part of a CI/CD release pipeline.
Enhanced and Updated Plugins – There were updates and enhancements to plugins including Salesforce, Oracle CX Commerce, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle API Platform, REST, and Tomcat.
Usability and User Experience Improvements – We deliver ongoing enhancements to optimize the experience while using FlexDeploy. Improvements in this release include a new Blueprint for Oracle ADF/WebLogic and Oracle CX Commerce, security password management improvements, and improvements to reporting for Approval and Scheduled Tasks.
Webhooks Enhancements – Multiple new features including a function for executing Utility Projects which can execute on specified instances as well as set workflow inputs and Flexfield values.
